| Spraymet surface technologies started operation with an aim to provide total surface technology solutions to indian industries. And these surface technology solutions should be with products and services covering a wide range of surface technology processes and coating services. The range of the product includes full range of thermal spray powder, pta cladding powders stellite hard facing rods and carbide hard facing electrodes. Industries served: textile - ceramics; chemical - pumps/plungers; shaft - repair; bearings - babbitting; sleeves - seal area. Some of the special products include customer blended plasma powders. These plasma powders are used for piston ring and hard chrome replacement, cobalt based cast components, tic wear parts and surface testing instrument. By non-transferred plasma arc, a high temperature plasma stream is created within the torch. Many gases may be ionised this way, argon or nitrogen with small additions of hydrogen and helium are popular choices. In an ionised gas, free electrons have been stripped from the atoms and recombination releases very significant thermal energy. Temperatures of 10,000-50,000 degrees fahrenheit can be reached by the plasma stream.
