| A metering/dosing pump, a controlled volume pump which is used to accurately dislocate a predetermined volume of fluid has been introduced by union enterprises. The pump`s flow rate can be adjusted even while the pump is in operation or at rest. The dosing pump`s stroke adjustment mechanism is an electric crankshaft, which converts rotary motion into reciprocating motion. It is positive return type and does not need any spring for return stroke. Its stroke adjustment is micrometric and is adjustable from 0 to 100% over the entire stroke length. Various models of dosing pump are available in capacities from 2 lt/hr to 6942 lt/hr. Material of construction of liquid end is ss 316, pvc, alloy-20, hastelloy c, teflon, or polypropylene. These metering/dosing pumps are used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, boiler houses, water treatment, effluents, fertilizer and many other process plants.
