Lakshmi electrical drives manufactures & introduces high performance motors, which are energy efficient motors having higher efficiency & higher performance values [speed torque].

The company has obtained indian standards [is 12615:1989] for its energy efficient motors. They abide by the ieema standards & are in accordance to it. This standard is prepared with energy conservation as the major requirement.
It follows the philosophy of categorising motor efficiencies at three level:
Low efficiency [eff 3]
Improved efficiency [eff 2]
High efficiency [eff 2]
In accordance to these classifications, the motors should at least conform to the standard of [eff 2]. High performance motors should have efficiency conforming to eff 1. But these machines are an exceptional one conforming to all these standards.
