| Altex electric co has launched automatic voltage regulators [avrs] which are suitable for various makes and ratings of ac generators. The avrs have different outputs to suit the excitation requirements of different size of ac generators which are available for lt 415 v, 3-phase 3.3 kv, 6.6 kv and 11 kv, 3-phase generators. The avrs derive power from main ac winding and supply it to the exciter field of ac generators to maintain the generator output voltage within close limits from no load to full load. Avrs are available both in encapsulated and open models. These avrs are reliable, compact, simple, user-friendly and economical. The company also provides spare parts for ac generators of various makes and various ratings.
