The lh-717 welding alloy, from ador fontech, is corrosion and oxidation resistant surfacing and joining electrode.

The lh-717 has an alloy basis of ni, cr, mo, w and fe
Heavy coated electrode with welding characteristics.
The deposit is resistant to corrosion and oxidation and is free from cracks and porosity.
The deposits resist deformation from static or cyclic loads at high temperatures.
Lh-717 has a uts of 75 kgf/mm, elongation of 30% & metal recovery of 150%
applications include fabrication and repair of hot pressing tools as well as surfacing of parts subject to abrasion. Oxidation and corrosion. Drop-forge dies, hot trimming dies, pump impellers, valves. Ideal for crack-free welding of parts subject to thermal and chemical influence, i.E., for the joining of heating elements.
