The lh-1119 welding alloy, from ador fontech, is a crack-resistant nickel-iron alloy electrode for welding different grades of cast irons. It has the following important features:
Electrode with stable & soft arc, regular flow
Minimum penetration hence very less dilution
Nodular deposit which provides crack resistivity
All position weldability
No undercuts
Fine & regular weld ripples
The lh-1119 has an alloy basis of iron & nickel
It has a uts of 47 kfg/sq.Mm
The lh-1119 is used for all types of ductile cast irons & malleable grey cast iron. Also used for joining machinable cast irons to carbon steels & for overlaying, building up, filing porosity etc.
