The lh-1115 welding alloy, from ador fontech, is an electrode cold welding of all grades of cast irons. It has the following important features:
All position welding with a stable & soft arc, regular flow
No undercuts
Minimum penetration & hence very less dilution
Haz[transition zone] of weld metal is easily machinable
It has a uts of 40 kfg/sq.Mm & elongation 32%
Fine & even weld ripples
The lh-1115 is an nickel-based electrode for cold welding of all grades of cast iron without preheat & for joining carbon steel to all grades of cast iron
