Ador fontech limited is engaged in supplying products & services to industries like steel, mining, power plants, railways, road transport workshops, sugar mills, cement plants, fertilizer & chemical plants, workshops, shipping industries etc. They manufacture low heat input welding alloys which are electrodes used for the welding of steel. The lh-106 smp welding alloy, from ador fontech, is an austeno-ferritic electrode with high tensile strength & ductility. It is characterized by the following salient features:
The lh-106 has an alloy basis of iron, manganese, chromium & nickel
The weld metal has nuclei treated element which produces controlled grain structure as well as controlled ferrite content
Electrode has "spray type" transfer & weld beads have uniform ripples
The weld metal is crack & heat resistant & tough
The electrode can be used on low amperage & has striking & re-striking characteristics
The deposit is machinable & crack proof
It has a uts of 85 kfg/sq.Mm & elongation of 24%.
Typical applications include joining of dissimilar steels of unknown composition with different thickness, & welding of dies, springs, etc.
