Comprehensive range of cmm styli and styli extension for greatest possible precision. Styli is available in various sizes and types. Stems and extensions in steel, tungsten carbide, ceramic and carbon fibre.
Silicon nitride :- possesses many similar properties to rubyit is very hard and wear-resistant ceramic. Silicon nitride does not have the attraction to aluminium and so does not exhibit the adhesive wear seen with ruby.
Zirconia :-touch ceramic material with wear resistant. Ideal for aggressive scanning applications on cost iron components.
Carbon fibre:- ideal for maximizing stiffness while giving very low mass. For styli above 50 mm in length.Has excellent vibration damping characteristics and negligible co-efficient of thermal expansion.
